Sound Christian Academy has a long tradition of membership with the National Honor Society. The name of our chapter is “Christian Ambassadors” and has for many years been a place of honor and achievement for students who desire to achieve excellence in their high school years. For many students, selection as a member of the National Honor Society is a highlight of their achievements in school. This honor, recognized throughout the nation, is both the public recognition of accomplishment and the private commitment to continued excellence on the part of the new member. Each student is selected based on the standards established at Sound Christian Academy and on the provisions of the national constitution. The criterion for membership is based on four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Members are expected to be in excellent standing in each of these areas for the length of their membership. On Wednesday night, 15 secondary students were formally inducted into our local chapter. Great job, students!
